Greetings
and Salutations
Although
I have not been writing as long as I have been drawing, it has
been a passion of mine for quite a long time. For those of you
who know me, you know that I have a bit of a problem with spelling.
Fortunately for me, an English teacher when I was sixteen gave
me "permission" to write first, and spell later. This
opened a whole new world for me.
Then,
in the last decade, computers, word processors and (Blessed be!)
spelling checkers became accessible to the average Joe. (And Jane.)
Now I could not only write, but I could do it and not look like
a fool. (Well, at least not so much of one.)
My
writing, as does most writers, falls into distinct categories.
Technical writing (which I have no examples of here since even
the people they were written for have little interest in casual
reading of QA procedures and assembly instructions), poetry, short
stories, and essays.
The
essays attached here were mostly (though not all) written for
the Kalmitity Kourior, a small newspaper in the Trinity Alps,
in a column called "The Wolf At Your Door."
Please
enjoy.
